⚠️ Warning: Unjust Extra Charge
This was an international purchase. We agreed to buy a product for USD 1,450 under DDU terms (we pay import tax).
There was no mention of extra fees at any time.
Right before shipping, the seller suddenly demanded an extra USD 480, saying it was to avoid “inspection risk” and claimed it came from the forwarder or a supervisor.
No documents or proper explanation were provided.
Adding USD 480 on top of USD 1,450 without proof is clearly unjust and suspicious.
We contacted customs in both countries, and both confirmed:
“There are no such inspection or added delivery fees.”
When we showed this to the seller, they made excuses but then
quickly canceled the charge with no pushback.
If the charge were real, it wouldn’t disappear that easily.
We received the product without paying anything extra.
This proves the USD 480 was a scam-like attempt using fear.

My quote from the beginning does not include tax, you need to pay taxes. When shipping, I just follow the advice of the freight forwarder to change to a tax inclusive method for faster customs clearance.It is a suggestion and not mandatory. We also fully respect your ideas. If you pay taxes in advance, you do not need to pay taxes later, and it is not a process of re payment. I don't understand where you are dissatisfied. Originally it was USD1500, but we also gave you a discount of USD50. You only need to pay USD1450 because of the support principle for first-time cooperation. We have been working hard to complete your order and deliver it smoothly. However, we have received unsatisfactory feedback,we deeply regret it.
